This historical old Ithaca map was reproduced from the Atlas of Tompkins County, published in 1866 by Stone & Stewart. This map shows the central part of Ithaca with a few family names. It covers the area considered the "city" in 1866, from Railroad Avenue and Fall Creek on the north, to Cascadilla Place and Eddy Street on the east, to well below Mechanic Street on the south, to beyond Chestnut Street on the west.
